Hip Hop as a culture is a force for connection, it uplifts the individual through the power of community. It’s revolutionary at its core, but has grown and evolved to become a powerful voice to connect and empower people across cultures around the globe equally. It respects the skill, confidence and ego of the individual but thrives from the energy and togetherness of community.
In our workshops, FN Focus and Hip Hop 101 strive to uplift, encourage and empower each member of our groups so that the young people involved can interact and explore the various aspects that go into the art form of Hip Hop. This could be lyric writing, composition, rapping, beat making, singing, dance and choreography and even music business and social media.
